UPDATE 2024-03-21: The project to construct a food truck court and bar at 648 Bridge NW / 345 Lexington NW has been abandoned. The new project for the site, still in the design phase, is a five story 150 unit apartment block by the same developer as The Current under construction in Creston (220 Quimby St. NE).

APPROVED
Rezoning of an abandoned railroad right of way from SD-IT (Industrial) to TN-TCC. The property is currently owned by 655 Godfrey Land LLC. The adjacent warehouse, the east of the old railroad, was rezoned from SD-IT to TN-TCC in 2018. The expectation is the property will be incorporated into the redevelopment of the warehouse.
The parcel is immediately to the west of the Oxford Trail bike path.

The city's new Strategic Plan is now available (link) is now available; hot of the e-presses. This document is meant to intentionally connect the goals of the Master Plan, and the various subsidiary plans, with the annual operations such as budgeting.

The discussion of Mobility at the February 26th Strategic Planning Session begins at ~2:49:49. The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to link in a list of three to five year priorities the city's day to day operations and annual budget to the long range Master Plan(s). We still have to see how, or if, this works about but a focus on the materialization of long term planning goals is an admirable goal.
