- Watch how-to for new repair station on $1.1 million downtown Grand Rapids bike route, MLIVE
- As to be expected the cost of anything is always the lead-in and head-line when MLIVE chooses to report on anything. However the article cannot be expected to responsibly present a break down of that figure; as a nice break from traditionally lousy reporting this article does comprehensively identify the funding sources used.
- "The route in some areas uses designated bicycle lanes and on other stretches shared-lane markings, or sharrows. .... North of Wealthy, the route follows portions of Straight and Butterworth streets before connecting to Seward. North of the asphalt path, the route follows Elizabeth Avenue to Ann Street via a creek and railroad crossing. It passes under U.S. 131 and over the Grand River where it connects to an existing off-street trail."
