The "Economic Impact Report of New Americans in Kent County" report was presented to the Committee Of The Whole on 2023-10-24.
The most important slide from their presentation of the report, from an urbanist perspective, is clearly:

Followed by this slide which generally applies to all of the United States, but especially Michigan.
American is old. At least in the short term - the next several decades - the only available source of younger workers is to import them. Fortunately, they want to come here. As with so many things the solution is for our own government to not be the obstacle to our success. 😢
